Ambeth Ocampo visits HAU for book signing event

Esteemed historian, Professor Ambeth Ocampo, graced Holy Angel University (HAU) with his presence at HAU Cafe Juan. During this visit, he autographed copies of his newest book, “Cabinet of Curiosities,” and had the pleasure of meeting with both the Angelites and book enthusiasts today, October 7.
With “Cabinet of Curiosities,” Prof. Ocampo delves deep into the artifacts that have shaped the country’s historical narrative, as he claimed. With his insights and research, the book is touted to shed a new light on these hidden treasures, offering a new perspective on Philippine heritage.
Accompanying Prof. Ocampo is Ian Christopher Alfonso, a historian from the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), who also autographed copies of his most recent publication, “Dogs in Philippine History.”
Additionally, the event showcased a selection of other history books that were made available for purchase by attendees.
