Angelites secured first place in the 2023 Regional Assembly of Information Technology Educators Video Editing and Hackathon matches, held on October 20 at Angeles University Foundation Sports Complex.

The delegates of HAU include Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (EMC) students namely Lance Ozaeta, Daniel Sibayan, Sebastian Nucum, Loren Jean Escober, and Ivy Coleen Spillers who competed for the video editing category and finished as the Best Multimedia Output for the hymn of the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators.

On the other hand, Computer Science (CS) students Mark Joseph Buduan and Erl Joshua Vergara were the victors of the Hackathon Mobile Development category. This competition tests students’ abilities in developing new ideas and schemes for innovative problem-solving processes in the Information Technology field.

Eventually, the CS students made it to the top choice and were declared as champions of the match as their concept focused on purpose and business value.
