For the second speaker of the event, The Angelite is delighted to present Ms. Tonette Orejas. She is an accomplished journalist and the chair of the Pampanga Press Club. With a remarkable four-decade career, she has made significant contributions to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, showcasing her depth and context in feature writing.

Ms. Orejas is recognized for her wide-ranging coverage, including human rights, environmental issues, and advocacy for community development.

Her work reflects a commitment to journalism that extends beyond reporting, influencing positive change in various sectors. Organized in collaboration with the Center for Kapampangan Studies (CKS), “Bap, Na’ng Balita?” seeks to underscore the significance of Kapampangan in journalism, fostering cultural preservation and a deep connection to the province’s heritage.
