SEd embarks on its annual Peace Days Celebration

The Holy Angel University – School of Education (HAU-SEd) officially commenced its annual Peace Days Celebration this Tuesday, September 19 with a spirited peace walk.

The opening ceremony, which was attended by the freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and the faculty of the School of Education, was paraded across the campus grounds accompanied with a marching band.

Beginning from the Epiphany Garden and concluding in the University Chapel, the walk came to its culmination when the Dean of the School of Education, Dr. Alma Natividad, as well as the Program Chairperson, Dr. Elmer Sotiangco, both set free to a pair of white doves to symbolize peace, fellowship, and harmony.

For this year’s celebration, SEd’s approaches continue regionwide, inviting students from various schools in Region III to join in inter-school competitions of poster-making, essay writing, spoken word poetry, extemporaneous speech, and advocacy-making campaign contests as well as a concluding regional forum.

The Peace Days Celebration will span a total of three (3) days – beginning Tuesday, September 19 until its closing on Thursday, September 21.
