COLLEGE DAYS 2022: School of Computing

The School of Computing (SOC) concluded its events and programs for College Days 2022 on October 12, Wednesday.

SOC opened its department’s day celebration on October 11 through a sports fest parade around Holy Angel University’s campus. This was then followed by face-to-face (F2F) ball games, a Code to Death competition for the Freshmen and Sophomores, and an academic quiz bee.

Later that day is one of the main highlights which is the Cosplay competition. The campus was filled with cosplayers flaunting their creative skills by dressing up as their favorite character from anime, video games, cartoons, comic books, and television series and bringing them to life.

For Day 2 on Wednesday, it started with the final match of the participating players of Basketball and Volleyball games at the covered court. A Web Development competition then followed where SOC students coded and designed a website according to classic ’50s to ’80s Halloween-themed movies.

Subsequently, a series of events showcasing talent and wit occurred in the Immaculate Heart (IH) gym such as the Family Feud, singing and dance competition, Mr. and Ms. SOC, and the awarding ceremony.

Online and F2F College day activities and events of the different departments are expected to run until the first week of November.
