Holy Angel University must stay true to its core value of social responsibility and encourage students to become critical citizens of our nation. It should be a place where discourse and discussions are emboldened. Repression has no place in any academic institution that prides itself as a beacon of social justice.
The Angelite, the official student publication of Holy Angel University, challenges students, most significantly student leaders, to exhaust all efforts and platforms to amplify the calls of the masses and expose the harsh realities under the tyrannical rule we are under.
Choosing to be apolitical in times of injustice favors the oppressive status quo. Speak up and fight back for today, our future, and the generations to come are at stake!
